Handcrafted Jewelry Box designed and crafted by 1973 Heisman Trophy Winner John Cappelletti
This jewelry box is a cornucopia of textures. It combines three types of wood, jade epoxy on the lid, and supple felt lining the inside. The bottom is made from Mahogany with a Padauk rim added. It also has a felt lining to help protect its occupants from scratching. The lid is made from Maple and features a jade green epoxy inlay with a decorative knob for ease of opening. This jewelry box measures 10-inches in diameter and is 2 1/2-inches tall.

It measures 18" x 18", Each square on the board measure 2" x 2" and are made of alternating Walnut and Maple woods. The board also has a 1" Walnut border that has been decoratively finished. Included are 12 natural finished Walnut checkers and 12 natural finished Oak checkers.
